List your property for free
Posting costs nothing. Pick the services you need, add photos, set how often you want service, and choose a bid window of 1 to 10 days. You never pay to receive bids.
- 02Privacy
Your address stays hidden
Until you pick a winner, your exact address is never shown. Landscapers only see your ZIP code and a one-mile circle around your property. That is why the map looks blurred. It protects your privacy while a deal is still open.
- 03The bids
Companies bid blind, by your deadline
Verified local companies submit a sealed per-visit bid before your window closes. They cannot see each other’s bids, so each one gives you their real price instead of racing to the bottom. You see ratings and reviews, not names. Identities stay blurred so the competition is fair.
- 04Choosing
Compare at the deadline and choose
When bidding closes, you review every bid side by side: price, estimated time, star rating, and approximate review count. You pick the best fit for your property, not just the cheapest.
- 05Transactions
Pay a one-time reveal fee to unlock the winner
When you choose a winner you pay a one-time reveal fee of 25% of the chosen per-visit bid. Example: pick a $45/visit bid and the reveal fee is $11.25. After that, you pay for each visit through LawnSwap, the bid plus a 5% platform fee, and we handle the payout to your landscaper.
- 06Connections
Connect and schedule directly
Once revealed, you both get full contact information. You schedule the first service and pay the landscaper directly, the same way you would with any company you hired yourself.
- 07Security
Verified companies and honest reviews
Every company is verified for a valid business license and general liability insurance before they can bid. Reviews are only allowed after both sides confirm the service actually happened, so you are reading real feedback. Bad actors get flagged.
- 08Paperwork
Optional contract template at the end
After you connect, you can download an optional, pre-filled service-agreement template. Nothing is legally binding through LawnSwap. It is simply a clean paper trail for your protection if you want one.
